Chris has trained in all aspects of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery at some of the best Plastic Surgery units in the UK. He completed his training in Australia with a year as Microsurgery Fellow and Senior Registrar at the world-famous Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia, where he had the privilege of working with some of the finest plastic and cosmetic surgeons in the world.

Chris was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery FRCS(Plast) and his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2009. Chris Dunkin is on the GMC Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery. He was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon in 2009 to expand the breast reconstruction and head and neck reconstruction services and set up a multidisciplinary facial palsy clinic.

Chris formed Perfecta Cosmetic Surgery (formerly Tees Plastic Surgery and York Plastic Surgery) in 2010 to bring high quality, cutting edge and affordable cosmetic surgery to the North East, Yorkshire and Cumbria. He is one of the best and most experienced cosmetic surgery specialists in the North of England with an outstanding reputation for the quality of care he delivers and the outcomes he achieves for his patients.
